Call to Action
Alert Scheduled for Proposed Acquisition of the EJ&E Railroad by Canadian National
Residents of Aurora, Naperville and Plainfield are invited to take part in a Call to Action Alert meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, July 23, at Waubonsie Valley High School’s Gold Campus, 1305 Long Grove Drive, Aurora, 60504.
Speakers will begin at 7 p.m. This meeting will address the proposed Canadian National (CN) Railway acquisition of the Elgin, Joliet & Eastern (EJ&E) Railway.

the Oaks Clubhouse. All resident's are encouraged to attend.
 The Oaks Recreational Club (ORC)
is a private club that maintains ownership of the clubhouse and pool facilities

LANDSCAPE COMMITTEE - Oakhurst Community
Association formed a committee to look into landscape related issues in our
neighborhoods. The committee’s goal is to assist the board by focusing on
seasonal designs, prioritize neighborhood common area upgrades and establish a
long-term landscape plan. Your input is always welcome. Please contact:

TRAFFIC COMMITTEE - Oakhurst Community
Association established a committee to look into traffic related issues in our
neighborhoods and the surrounding arterial streets. A big part of the
committee’s work will be the development of a traffic plan to help us
promote a safer community environment for our families and still allow for the
necessary flow of traffic. Your help is needed to identify the traffic problems
