Pool Policy
Members
To protect the integrity of ALL Equity Memberships, EVERY member
is required to present their valid pool I.D. upon EACH visit.

Guest Policy
The Guest Fee is $6.00 per person per day. ALL guests are required
to wear a wrist band at all times. Each individual guest is limited
to THREE guest visits per season. Guests 10 years and under must
be accompanied and supervised by an individual at least 16 years
of age.

Family Guest Policy
Family members visiting outside a 75 mile radius of our facility
are entitled to purchase a 7 day guest pass at a rate of $25.00
per family up to 4 people. The cost will increase in increments
of $10.00 for each additional family member. A member must obtain
a Family Application Form from the front desk and return the completed
form at least 7 days prior to the use of the pass. Failure of proper
notification will result in the $6.00 per day guest policy.

Caregiver Policy
A caregiver is a non-member patron that is providing care for an
active Oaks Recreational Club member household. Caregivers must
be 16 years old. Caregiver memberships must be purchases by an Oaks
Recreational Club member household.

Guest Waiver- It is the responsibility of
each member to familiarize his/her guest with all the rules and
regulations of the facility. Each member and guest must sign a guest
waiver agreeing abide by the rules and policies of the facility.
Each member is responsible and liable for all actions of his/her
guest. Failure by a member to follow any of the facility rules and
regulations will result in immediate suspension of their membership
until a Board of Directors review.
Pool Rules
All members and their guests are expected to comply
with the following rules and regulations. These rules have been
established to assure the safe and orderly operation of the Oaks
Recreational Club Facility.
(1) According to Illinois State Laws governing
swimming pools, no food, drink, tobacco, or gum of any kind whatsoever
will be allowed on the pool deck outside of the concessions area.
(2) The entire pool area is a smoke free
environment. No smoking will be allowed within the pool fence area
at any time.
(3) NO GLASS CONTAINERS ARE ALLOWED ANYWHERE
WITHIN THE FACILITY.
(4) Admittance to the pool area will be by
Membership ID only.
(5) Street clothes of any type will not be
allowed in the water as swimwearthis includes cut offs.
(6) Running is not permitted within the pool
fence area.
(7) No standing, hanging or playing on the
rope. Also, no member may use the lifeguard chairs.
(8) Children 10 years and under MUST BE ACCOMPANIED
BY AN ADULT MEMBER (16 years or older) when they are within the
pool premises.
(9) A Member must accompany all guests at
all times. Guests will be expected to abide by the pools rules set
forth, and it shall be the responsibility of the Member to so inform
the guest. A fee of $6.00 per guest, per day, will be charged. When
a Member arrives with a guest, the Member must complete the Guest
Registration Form and follow the written Guest Policy. Each guest
is allowed 3 visits per summer.
(10) No air mattresses or any type of raft
will be allowed in the pool. NO EXCEPTIONS. Adults must be in attendance
with children who are using training aids, i.e., water wings and
floatation vests.
(11) Infants, toddlers and children who are
not toilet trained must wear protective pants at all times. Only
swim diapers are allowed. No disposable diapers are allowed in the
pool.
(12) The pool will be open only when the
air temperature is above 68 degrees and weather permitting.
(13) No use of profanity (including related
gestures) will be tolerated.
(14) No pets or animals of any kind will
be allowed in the pool or pool area.
(15) First Aid will be administered on an
emergency basis only. For minor first aid, a parent or guardian
(if patient is under 18 years of age) will be contacted. If they
cannot be reached, paramedics will be summoned to administer treatment.
(16) Admission to the pool is refused to
all persons having a contagious disease, infectious conditions,
excessive sunburn, unhealed abrasions, corn plasters, bunion pads,
adhesive tape or rubber bandages.
(17) Any person under the influence of alcohol
or exhibiting erratic behavior will not be permitted in the pool
area.
(18) No rough play is permitted.
(19) All apparel worn at the pool shall be
clean and sanitary.
(20) No diving is permitted.
(21) Presentation of ID passes may be required
randomly during pool visits.
(22 Towels must be placed on all lawn chairs
while in use. This will prevent deterioration of chairs due to the
sun block chemicals.
(23) Club activities, including but not limited
to swim lessons, swim team, social functions, are for members only
unless otherwise noted.
(24) Whenever additional rules are deemed
advisable for the proper conduct of this pool as well as for the
protection of the health and safety of its members and guests, the
management, guards, and Board of Directors are authorized to issue
and put into effect such rules.
Baby Pool Rules
(1) All children must be accompanied and
supervised by an adult on the deck of the baby pool.
(2) No child over the age of 4 years is allowed.
(3) The Board of Directors or the lifeguards
must approve any exceptions.
(4) Only swim diapers are allowed. No disposable
diapers are allowed in the pool.
Violation of Pool Rules
Violation of Pool Rules will be dealt with at the
discretion of the Board of Directors and/or the lifeguards. Such
action may include temporary or seasonal restriction of pool privileges
in lieu of or in addition to fines. The Club will not be responsible
for loss of personal property.
